From My Heart

Are we through the worst of the snow and ice for this winter?  I sure pray we are done with it all, and we can start to see things improving.  We have had a rough month of February, and I think everyone is looking for warmer weather.  This last storm devastated the people of Texas with the ice, snow, flooding, and power outages.  As far south as San Antonio, the devastation was immense.  With all the windmills, solar panels, and other forms of “green” energy, when the temperatures dropped down into single digits, those “green” energy sources froze and stopped working - leaving a huge problem with the energy supply.

Then, with all the sprinkler systems that must be in new homes, the water pipes are all through the ceilings and attics.  When the temperatures went below freezing, these water pipes froze, and the pipes burst - and thousands upon thousands of homes were flooded and ruined.  So, these poor folks had no heat, no electricity, and cracked water pipes were pouring water into homes.  What a tragic situation.  Please pray for those devastated folks all over the state of Texas.

In recent days, I have had a couple of my preacher friends across the country call to ask me to join them in praying for revival in America.  I was encouraged by the burdens these men have for our nation. They do not know each other, but the Lord laid the burden for revival on their hearts, and they called me to ask me to join them in praying daily for the Lord to shake America to its knees.

I want to ask all of you to join us as we pray! America needs to come back to God in repentance of sin, or else we are going to lose our nation as we have known it.  The corruption, the sinfulness, the killing, the murder of babies in the womb, the human trafficking, the illegal drugs - and the list simply goes on and on of the vices that lure people away from God.

I still believe we are in a crisis point in our country.  I still believe America has only three options right now: rapture, revival, or ruin.  There is not one thing that must occur before our Lord returns in the clouds for His church.  The Rapture of the Church could happen this very moment - and I wish it would!  But, if the Lord does not return imminently, I would love to see revival sweep our land.  I would love to see the country turn to God and see a sweeping number of people coming to the Lord to get saved and right with Him.  If we are not Raptured up to Heaven, or if there is not a revival that sweeps our land - our other option as a country is going to simply be the ruination of America.

Oh, how we need revival!  So, will you join us in praying for revival in our nation?  It must begin with you and with me!  I would love to see our entire church family praying for revival!  Let's start praying for revival today!

Have a wonderful day and keep looking to the Lord for His great grace.

     Pastor Norris
