From My Heart

This evening, at 7:00 p.m., we will have our first performance of the Living Cross. Notice the time of the evening service has been changed from 6:00 to 7:00. Our choir, orchestra, cast, and crew have been diligently working since early January for these four nights coming up this week. We have tickets printed for you to use as a reminder for folks to attend. They do not need a ticket to get in; admission is free, but the ticket is simply a reminder for them to be here.

I certainly trust you will help us promote this year’s presentation. I have told you many times that the best advertisement we have is YOU! You can invite someone to come with you and then tell them you will gladly sit with them. As you well know, after each program, I will give a Gospel message and invite folks to receive the Lord Jesus as their personal Savior. This year’s story, combined with the music, is one with a great message that will stir the hearts of everyone! I pray that you will take advantage of this opportunity for some of your family, your children, your co-workers, or neighbors to hear a clear presentation of the Gospel message.

We have been watching the political divide in our nation continue to grow greater and greater apart as the years pass. If Pres. Trump said, “Snow is white!” Every Democrat, and 4 or 5 (RHINO) Republicans would stand up the next day and scream, “I disagree with the President about his stand on the color of snow! He is only showing us that he is a blatant racist.” The hatred and the divide are unlike anything I have ever seen.

The one fellow who is surprising everyone with his common-sense views on many of the major issues today is Sen. John Fetterman, of Pa. He is siding with the President on several major issues and has been very outspoken on things. But to balance out his support for the President, we see a few Republican Senators stand with the Democrats, and it is causing a multitude of issues in D.C. Rand Paul, Lisa Murkowski, Susan Collins, and a few others think the political universe revolves around them, and they have to side with the Democrats on some of these very import issues that would change the way “the Swamp” works, if only they would vote with the President.

But…they have to stand up against Trump! The overwhelming majority of the country (both Democrats and Republicans) support the “Save America Voting Act,” which would make all voters present ID to prove they are American citizens, before they are allowed to vote. And you would think every Republican Senator would unabashedly agree with this bill! But no!!!!! Some of these Republican in Name Only folks (RHINO Republicans) are siding with the Dems who want everyone and everything that moves to vote! I say it is time to throw them all out and re-elect a whole new bunch of true, wholesome men and women to sit in the Senate! Have a great day and a blessed week!
