From My Heart

Our summer is quickly winding down, and soon CCS will be up and running at full steam. Please pray for the school year to get off on the right foot. We have some openings in a few elementary classes, so if you are planning (or know someone who is planning) to enroll your child, you should contact the school office quickly.

We will have several new students this year, so I trust you will pray for these folks to adjust quickly, and if these children are not yet saved, pray they will trust the Lord and get the school year started on the right foot! Many parents are so disgusted with the Public School System (even in Carroll County), they are looking for an alternative, so some of the kids who come our way are not churched, and it is a great opportunity to lead them to the Lord. So, please pray for us as we begin the new school year.

President Trump has the Liberals beside themselves over his crackdown on the Washington, D.C. crime situation. Why would anyone be against cracking down on crime? So, add that to the list of things the Democrats support: they now support crime in D.C., they support raising taxes, they support abortion rights (right up to delivery), they support allowing illegals to flood into the country, they support fentanyl pouring into the country and killing our kids, and they support defunding the police! The bottom line is they support whatever President Trump stands for!

On another issue, from what I have been reading, things are ramping up in what is now being called “Obama-gate.” I have read where everyone who has seen the information Tulsi Gabbard has given over to the Justice Department is clear and shows what we knew all along: there was a contrived conspiracy to accuse President Trump of working with Russia to win the 2016 election. Obama, Biden, John Brennan, James Clapper, Susan Rice, and a few others made up the lies that they propagated as truth, which was then used to impeach President Trump twice. Surely, there should be consequences for this treasonous scheming against a President who won the election fair and square.

I am in disagreement with President Trump’s position on the Ukraine-Russia war. Trump wants the Ukrainian President Zelensky to agree to Russia’s claim of 1/5th of Ukrainian land. Putin is a murderous thug who has killed innocent Ukrainians simply because he wants the land in the eastern and southern parts of Ukraine. In both Russia and Ukraine, hundreds of thousands of lives have been lost because Putin invaded Ukraine, a sovereign nation, and the world sat idly by and allowed it to happen. I do not believe Putin should be rewarded, but should be brought to the world court and answer for his actions of killing innocent people! But Trump wants to allow him to keep the land he has illegally taken from Ukraine! I just do not agree with that decision!

Pray for America and for the peace of Jerusalem. Have a great day!

Pastor Norris
