From My Heart
Happy Father’s Day to all our dads! If you are fortunate enough to have your dad still with you, take some time to reach out and give him your love and appreciation. My dad has always been my personal hero, and I have always thought he hung the moon and held our world together. Dad always had the answers and our whole family looked to him for answers and for his opinion on all we did. After the morning service today, we will have some candy bars for all our dads, so make sure you get yours.
I went to my doctor on Monday and he told me I had sinusitis, as well as bronchitis. He gave me an antibiotic, a decongestant, an inhaler, and a week long dose of steroids. Needless to say, if that doesn’t perk me up a little, I don’t know what will. And no....I do not have COVID!
Have you seen some of these school board meetings where parents are standing up to the school boards across the country? These parents are making the point that they have had enough of the indoctrination of their children. In Illinois this last week, a parent blasted his district school board for allowing teachers to teach sexual perversions that I cannot even mention in a public setting.
The majority of the public school systems today are run by radical leaning folks who are more concerned with indoctrination than of giving children an education. Some of these people would rather your elementary student know that America is the problem in the world and not the solution. They are teaching what they call “Critical Race Theory” in America’s schools, and that will continue to gain momentum until it is included in the nation-wide curriculum. Critical Race Theory is difficult to explain, but I will try my best to define it in next week’s “From My Heart.” Needless to say, it is a Socialistic doctrine and just the next bad philosophy in a long line of evil philosophies propagated by the Socialistic extremists upon our nation by the Left!
One lady in New Jersey went before her school board and someone video-taped her rant and it went viral within hours! She was calling out names of specific names of teachers who were teaching her kids radical race matters and shaming her children simply because they were born white. Thank the Lord for people who will stand up, but it is probably too late to change what is already well established in the system.
